I've been asked by lots of people how you fix a flat while traveling. So took some pics of my last flat repair.

There's the Spot!

Sand the tube well.

Apply two coats of rubber cemment and allow to dry.

Put the patch in place. I always put it so the tire rotation is in the on the diagonal. Don't know that this really makes a difference however.

Stitch into place. This thing has little bumps on the wheel so it really pushed the patch into the rubber cemment.

Putting the tire back on. Use your knee to hold it on.. and then pry with the tire irons.

Fill with air.. then deflate to check that the beed is set. Replace the valve core. Fill with air again to your desired pressure.
