Duane P. Kerzic > Stairwell to track. No signs in the stairwells.
Duane P. Kerzic > Here is another no trespassing sign on the track level. It's placed at a height above the floor that is less than the average height of an adult woman. No way this sign can be observed when there are people on the platform. Also it's not located in a manner in which you would see if if you were exiting the trains.
Duane P. Kerzic > Another Elevator that takes you to the track level. No sign.
Duane P. Kerzic > I don't remember what track this is right now. Photo was taken to show how the placement of the signs makes them impossible to be noticed unless you are only looking for the sign. There is no way to tell what the sign says. There are so many signs in Penn Station NY how could you resonabally expect someone to see and comprehend signs placed like this?
Duane P. Kerzic > Entrance to Track 15 and 16 West. No sign at all. So is it ok to go to tracks 15 and 16 west, Platform 8 but not Tracks 15 and 16 East also Platform 8.
Duane P. Kerzic > Here is the stair for Track 15 & 16 East. There is a sign behind the movable sign. Where does this sign apply to? The stairs down, the waiting area. Also no how low the sign is posted. When there are people present there would be no way to see this sign.
Duane P. Kerzic > Here we can see a by the door way. But the elevator takes you to the same place and there is no sign. Again is the sign for the space the sign is in or for the space beyond the doorway.
Duane P. Kerzic > Another track with no sign.
Duane P. Kerzic > Here is a 'no trespassing sign on a column and a sign on a steel door. Where do these signs apply to?
